DHL Supply Chain於2017年委託Iharrington group LLC及美國麻里蘭大學針對全球供應鏈的人才供需狀況進行調查,針對350位以上的全球供應鏈及作業專家諮詢意見,新近公佈的調查報告(The Supply Chain Talent Shortage: From Gap To Crisis),顯示全球供應鏈產業正面臨人才短缺,這種短缺現況已經從斷層演變到危機,領先的企業瞭解他們必需採取行動來解決這種情況,否則將來會面臨使用不稱職的人來管理供應鏈的後果,其潛在問題令人擔憂,特別是在某些行業,供應鏈人才斷層可能威脅其中企業的全球競爭力。

In 2017, DHL Supply Chain commissioned Iharrington group LLC and the University of Maryland to conduct a survey on the supply and demand of talents in the global supply chain. Based on the consultation opinions of more than 350 global supply chain and operation experts, the newly released survey report (The Supply Chain Talent Shortage: From Gap To Crisis), showing that the global supply chain industry is facing a talent shortage.
